Heroes never win/Villains always lose
Ya know its weird?
There are not a lot of guys in the Biz
with super speed. There are like at least 40 Who can fly that I know
of, then you got your Guys who can Telport and Your Gals who can
"Leap tall buildings" and guys who swing about the City
like Tarzans. Heck there are even a Handful of Super Swimming Types
It's weird though considering all the
weird, wonderful powers that are out there right now, but I can not
think of One Member of the fraternity of Super beings that has Super
Speed?
I'm not talking Olympic Athlete
Speed, I'm talking faster then a speeding sports car super speed.
It's like the rarest power of all, like there is some unwritten
cosmic law that says no one can run that fast.
Its not that a Body could not survive
the speeds? Every guy who can fly has proven that wrong, so maybe
there is just some difference between flight and running?
I must admit it bothered me.
There was One Guy, about 8 years ago
called javelin, he could Run real fast but something happened to Him
and he just vanished-Quit the Biz. Then if you go farther back, like
to the golden days of the 80's! There were like a Dozen guys with
Super Speed, all of them are retired or Dead now.
So what changed? Why are there guys
who can fly, but not tone who can Rune like Lightning.
I tend to have a Lot of Free Time on
my hands these days, so I guess I sort of Obsess over thing
